Mike Tyson v Frank Bruno limited edition signed lithograph'Framed' 1996
This amazing painting was commissioned to Terrence Gilbert (famous International sporting artist) a week before the fight and produced as an artist signed'Limited Edition' lithograph. It features Frank Bruno's 2nd clash with Mike Tyson in March 1996 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Mike Tyson was released from prison'on parole' in 1995 having been found guilty of raping Desiree Washington in 1991. Tyson had two fights since his release and was placed ahead of Lennox Lewis for contenders for the WBC Title and his promoter'Don King', who also prompted Oliver McCall, drew up a contract where McCall would defend his title against Bruno and the winner of the fight would be forced to defend the belt against Tyson in their first defence. Bruno of course defeated McCall and faced Tyson only to lose by way of Technical knockout in the 3rd round. This professionally double mounted and framed signed lithograph is a superb tribute to Mike Tyson and his return to boxing and his WBC Heavyweight title. Mounting includes tale of the tape window section.
